Launch of Springboard 2012
Launch of 6000 new Springboard places
The Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairí Quinn T.D., and the Minister of State for Training and Skills, Ciarán Cannon, T.D., launched the next round of the Springboard programme.
Third level institutions across the country will be offering free, part-time courses under the programme, which is a key part of the Government’s Jobs Initiative. Springboard has been developed in close collaboration with enterprise and funding is only available for programmes in areas of identified skills needs.
