Report on Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation Published

The First Report on Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation (SSTI) 2006-2013 outlines the progress that has been made since the strategy was launched. The strategy is based on a shared vision of placing Ireland as a centre of research excellence. Some of the key aims of the SSTI include:


    • Building a world class research system.

    • Capturing, protecting and commercialising ideas and know-how.

    • Driving growth through research and innovation in enterprise.

    • Providing solid sound foundations in education

    • Ensuring that the different parts of the research system are working well together.
